Fat Loss Diet – A Sample of my Carb Cycling Day for My Fitness Model Contest
The Sample Diet :- 2249 Calories, 307 grams Protein, 62 grams Carbs (not including veg) and 97 grams Fats.
Meal 1 :- 2 x Bacon Rashers (no fat), 4 egg white + 1 whole egg scrambled, cooked in a dash of Olive oil.
Meal 2 : – 400gram Fillet Steak, 20 grams Almonds, Vegetables/Greens
Meal 3 :- Chicken Breast 170 grams, Brown Basmati Rice 100 grams
Meal 4 :- Post Workout – Whey/Casein Protein mix 55 grams, Maltodextrin 20 grams
Meal 5 :- 4 Egg Whites Scrambled, Half an avocado
Meal 6 :- 4 Liquid Egg Whites, Mixed with Casein Protein 53 grams (2 scoops).

Some people asking me, they saw my transformation, DJ, how do I get rid of my evil belly fat? I just wanna finally, you know, reveal a six pack abs. Well, today, I’m excited because I’m gonna show you exactly what I ate and how I made this small minor twist with my nutrition. To rapidly shed off the fat of my body faster than the traditional way.

So, how do you get rid of that evil belly fat? Well, there’s a traditional way to lose body fat, which is balanced diet creating a calorie deficit of 200 to 500 calories, and it was just great. You know, because it balances your hormones out, you’re slowly loosing fat, and it is safe effective way over time loosing body fat. But what if you want to lose body fat faster, right? When I started my transformation, I want to lose body fat fast. So, I started working with different people in fitness industry and trying to figure out what’s the fastest way that I can use to lose the most amount of body fat. I discovered that, the fastest way to do it, which is been used by professional athletes to get down like 5% body fat. Over and over again.
What is it and how does it work? Any why is it so effective? Well, first of all, what it is, is manipulating your hormones, to target fat cells. So, how do you do that? Okay, by making few simple tweaks to your nutrition. Some explain what that method, it is called, Cyclic ketogenic diet or in simple terms it’s called carb cycling. And it’s very simple…on some day you’re eating high protein, high fat diet. And on other days you’re eating high protein, high carb diet. Now, what it does, it switches your metabolism over from a carb metabolism where you’re using carb for fuel into fat metabolism where you’re using fat for fuel. So, what happens is you’re using the glycogen in your muscles and as the glycogen starts to pleaded you’re body switches over to fat burning mode and start to target specifically the fat cells for energy. Alright? Then, after a few days, your body adopts, just like any body cells adopt. So, fat loss start to slow down, and this is where people start to plateau, and that’s why carb cycling is much more effective. ‘Coz what you do on that point, is barg your body with tons of carbohydrates, two to three times the amount you normally eat, and there’s two reasons you do this.

Carbs can be your friend!
Having very low carbs is not best idea. I’ve been on low carb diets and while you will lose weight, most of it will be water weight and it is not sustainable long term because the hormone leptin will drop and consequently, your metabolism will slow down. This means when you do eat carbs, you will gain weight much faster than a normal person since your body is insensitive to insulin.
On the other hand, if you have too much carbs, your insulin level will be constantly elevated and if you are not working out and using it as a source of energy, then there is a likely chance that it will be stored as fat.
By manipulating carbs and eating them at the right time aka, on days you expend the most energy and lowering carbs on other days, you can get the best of both worlds – fat burning benefits from low carb days while still having enough energy from higher carbs days which will keep your metabolism high and prevent insulin insensitivity
I like to eat high carb and moderate carb days on days I do resistance training. I save low carb days for rest days and days i do cardio.
However, i am flexible and i still eat some carbs on ‘low carb days’ and eat fat on ‘high carb days’.
Most importantly, before you carb cycle, make sure you get down the basics and you are eating clean, wholesome foods! It is better to master the basics before you begin manipulating macronutrients!
